About Us

Bridge Farm is set in just under 30 acres surrounded by tranquil countryside and quiet country lanes. Bridge Farm was purchased by the current owners in January 2016 and is now currently undergoing refurbishment. We, the owners, live onsite ensuring there is around the clock presence on the farm, giving you and your horse the reassurance that someone is usually around to give you a helping hand.

To date, 12 stables have been refurbished with more plans in the pipeline.  We aim to further improve the facilities over the coming months to bring all the Bridge Farm Equestrian's facilities up to the standard that we want to offer. It is our aim to be a BHS approved livery yard in the near future.

So far, the whole family have been involved and will continue to play a major part in the ongoing refurbishment plans, which will be rolled out over the next few years.

There is easy access to popular show grounds such as Felbridge, Oldencraig and Hickstead. It is within hacking distance to Lingfield Racecourse and various hacking routes inlcuding TROT (Toll rides off road trust).

Offering ample parking facilities our aim is to build a livery yard where people want to spend time to enjoy both riding or  carriage driving in a friendly social atmosphere.

Ian (Owner)

Ian is interested in carriage driving. After trying it out for his 50th birthday, he started having regular lessons with Sara Howe at Bradbourne Carriage Driving Centre, the home of the current Four-in-hand GB Team, and is now planning to buy a pair of ponies in the not too distant future. Ian loves having all the machinery to ensure the farm is kept in the best possible condition, which is currently "work in progress”. With loads of ideas for the future, you'll hear Ian singing around the yard and always hard at work.

Sharon loves all her animals, as well as the occasional ride herself. Working part time, Sharon will be out and about on the yard most days. Sharon will be working alongside Olivia providing the day to day care of your horse. After recently becoming a grandmother, she is split between poo picking or cuddles with new grandson Harry.

Our Rodent Protection

Small ginger cat, Rosie, is really friendly, however we do have two feral cats that are becoming more social on the yard.

Mika spends her time in and around the yard. She does not like other dogs but is very friendly, and lives for rounding up horses. She has always got something in her mouth, more often than not it is a stone so please if you see this tell her "leave" and give her one of the many toys around the farm.
